JEE Advanced 2026 Exam City List Released by IIT Roorkee

JEE Advanced 2026 exam city list has been released by IIT Roorkee on the official JEE Advanced portal. The tentative list confirms that the entrance examination will be conducted in 321 cities across India and two cities outside India. The announcement has been made along with the release of the official JEE Advanced 2026 information brochure.

As per the latest update, the exam will be held in Kathmandu, Nepal, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, for candidates opting for overseas exam centres. The list also highlights changes made to the exam centre allocation for the upcoming year.

JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Cities Outside India

IIT Roorkee has confirmed two international cities where JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted. These centres are meant for eligible candidates applying under the foreign national category. The overseas exam cities for JEE Advanced 2026 are listed below.

  • Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE)

These international centres will function as per the same examination rules and schedule prescribed for Indian exam cities.

Changes in JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Centre List

One significant update in the JEE Advanced 2026 exam city list is the removal of Saharanpur. The city, which earlier fell under the IIT Roorkee zone, has been removed from the list of exam centres for the 2026 examination.

Candidates who were expecting Saharanpur as a test city will now have to select alternative centres from the available options during the application process. The final allotment of exam cities will depend on preferences filled by candidates and seat availability.

JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Cities Zone-Wise Structure

JEE Advanced 2026 exam cities are divided into seven zones, each managed by a designated zonal IIT. This zonal structure ensures smooth coordination of exam-related activities across different regions of the country.

Each candidate will be assigned an exam city based on the selected zone and preferences submitted during registration. Detailed zone-wise exam city information has been provided in the JEE Advanced 2026 information brochure released by IIT Roorkee.
