Selection Process
The selection of candidates for the apprentice positions will be based on a single-stage online written examination, which will carry a total of 100 marks. The exam will consist of:
- General Awareness and English Comprehension (50 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes)
- Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability (50 questions, 50 marks, 30 minutes)
Key points regarding the examination include:
- A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- Unanswered questions will not incur any penalty.
Based on the performance in this examination, the Bank will compile a merit list categorized by district, region, and category. In cases where candidates achieve identical scores, the older candidate will be prioritized. Furthermore, a waitlist of up to 50% of the notified vacancies will be maintained for one year or until the next recruitment cycle.
