JAC Class 9 Registration 2026 Deadline Ends Today; Late Fee From January 13 as the Jharkhand Academic Council has officially closed the regular registration window for the 2026 academic session. Schools have been directed to complete the registration and approval process within the stipulated timeline to avoid penalties. The council has clearly stated that no further extension will be provided under any circumstances.
JAC Class 9 Registration 2026 Last Date Confirmed
As per the official circular issued by the Jharkhand Academic Council, 12 January 2026 is the final date for submitting and approving Class 9 registration forms without any late fee. All registrations must be approved by the respective District Education Officer (DEO) within the deadline. The council has emphasised that the registration window will not be reopened, citing the upcoming academic and examination schedule.
Late Fee Applicable From January 13
The council has confirmed that registrations approved from 13 January 2026 onwards will attract a late fee. Schools have been advised to avoid delays, as last-minute submissions may result in financial as well as administrative complications. JAC has warned institutions to ensure timely completion of the registration process to prevent unnecessary burden on students and parents.
Holiday Concerns and Council Instructions
Considering Sohrai, a government holiday observed in parts of Jharkhand, concerns were raised regarding possible closure of DEO offices on the last day. Addressing this issue, the council has instructed district education authorities to make necessary arrangements to ensure that approvals are completed on time. The Jharkhand Academic Council has reiterated that no special relaxation or deadline extension will be granted due to holidays or administrative issues.
Important Advisory for Schools and Students
Schools are advised to immediately verify the status of all pending Class 9 registrations and coordinate with district authorities for timely approval. Students and parents should remain in contact with their respective schools to ensure that registration formalities are completed within the deadline. Candidates are advised to rely only on official notifications issued by the Jharkhand Academic Council for accurate and updated information regarding Class 9 registration for the 2026 academic session.
