Expert-Recommended Last-Minute Board Preparation Tips
Students preparing for the JAC board exams should focus on essential strategies to maximise their performance:
- Prioritise High-Weightage Chapters: Concentrate on topics and chapters that historically carry more marks in the exam pattern
- Conceptual Clarity: Ensure strong understanding of core concepts, particularly for subjects like Mathematics and Science, where problem-solving and logical application are key.
- Practice with Sample Papers: Attempting JAC model papers and previous-year question papers helps familiarise students with question formats and time management
- Time-Bound Revision: Use a timer while practising to simulate real exam conditions and improve writing speed and accuracy
- NCERT Textbooks: Most board questions are framed from NCERT texts; revision of these should be given priority.
What Students Should Know Before the Exam?
- Exam Timetable: Both Class 10 and Class 12 exams start on 3 February 2026 and will be completed by late February based on class-wise schedules published by JAC.
- Shift Details: Matric papers will be conducted in the forenoon session, while Inter papers will run in the afternoon.
- Admit Cards: Students should ensure they have downloaded their JAC board exam admit cards well before the exam dates. (Students must obtain admit cards before the exam; available dates were set earlier by the Council.)
A calm, structured approach to revision, regular practice of model papers and a clear understanding of concepts can help students perform confidently in the Jharkhand Board exams 2026. Students are encouraged to check the official JAC website for detailed subject-wise timetables, admit card availability and board instructions as the exam dates approach.
