ISC, ICSE Board Exams 2026 Cancelled in UAE: CISCE Notice

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has cancelled the ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board exams 2026 at all centres in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The decision was taken due to the current security situation in the Middle East, and results will be prepared through an alternative assessment method.
ISC, ICSE Board Exams 2026 Cancelled in UAE after the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced that the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations scheduled in the United Arab Emirates will not be conducted.
The board confirmed that the decision applies to all CISCE examination centres across the UAE. The cancellation was announced in view of the current security situation in the Middle East, which has affected normal academic activities in the region.
ICSE, ISC 2026 Exams Cancelled in UAE
According to the official update, both major CISCE board examinations scheduled this year have been cancelled in the UAE. The affected examinations include:
- ICSE (Class 10) Board Examination 2026
- ISC (Class 12) Board Examination 2026
Students who were scheduled to appear at UAE centres will not take the examinations as per the earlier timetable.
Alternative Assessment for ICSE and ISC Students
CISCE has announced that results for affected students will be declared through an alternative assessment method. The council will evaluate students based on other academic parameters instead of conducting the board examinations. Detailed guidelines regarding the assessment process will be shared separately by the board.
UAE Announces Early Spring Break
Alongside the examination cancellation, authorities in the United Arab Emirates have also announced an early start to the spring break for schools and universities. Students and staff across educational institutions will remain on vacation from 9 March to 22 March 2026. The measure has been implemented as a precautionary step amid the ongoing regional situation.

The cancellation affects students studying in CISCE-affiliated schools in the UAE, who were preparing to appear for the ICSE and ISC board examinations 2026. Students have been advised to stay in contact with their respective schools and check official CISCE communications for further updates regarding:
