GGSIPU Maximum Cut-Off Ranks 2025 for LE-B.Tech (Code 128)

GGSIPU published a document specifying the maximum closing rank determined through online counselling for the 2025–26 session under LE-B.Tech (Code 128). Additionally, IPU’s seat status page confirms that the Lateral Entry to B.Tech Cut-Off (CET Code 128), Round 1 was declared on July 2, 2025.

Trends & Observations from 2025 Cut-Offs

• The LE-B.Tech cut-off ranks are relatively low (favourable) compared to standard B.Tech admissions — many courses closed within triple digits.
• Computer Science / IT / CSE-related branches drew the highest competition.
• The wide span of closing ranks even within the same branch suggests significant variation across shifts, campuses, and categories.
• The maximum closing rank document indicates that for some branches, the cut-off stretched quite high, implying seats in less-preferred branches or shifts closed at higher ranks.

What to Expect for IPU LE-B.Tech Cut-Off 2026?

The 2026 lateral entry cut-off will depend on several factors:

• Number of applicants in the diploma stream
• Difficulty level of the exam
• Seat availability in each branch/college
• Shift in preferences across branches

When released, the 2026 cut-off will be published on the official IPU portal (ipu.admissions.nic.in) and IPU’s seat status page. Meanwhile, aspirants should monitor those platforms.
