INI CET 2025 Nov Counselling Deadline Extended to 7 February 2026

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has announced an extension to the open-round registration deadline for INI CET 2025 November counselling. Candidates who qualified the INI CET 2025 exam and did not complete registration earlier now have time to participate in the open round until 7 February 2026. This phase of counselling offers another opportunity to secure postgraduate medical seats at participating institutes of national importance.

Extended Registration Deadline and Seat Allotment Schedule

The revised timeline for the INI CET open-round counselling is as follows:

• INI CET 2025 open-round registration deadline: 7 February 2026
• Open-round seat allotment result: 21 February 2026

Qualified candidates are required to register and complete the choice filling process before the extended deadline to be considered in the open round of seat allocation. The allotment results will be published in PDF format on the official AIIMS counselling portal shortly after the deadline.

Who Should Register in the Open Round?

The open round of INI CET counselling is designed for:

• Candidates who did not register in earlier rounds.
• Candidates who did not receive a seat in prior allotment stages.
• Aspirants wishing to upgrade their options based on updated preferences.

This extended window gives more flexibility for eligible candidates to take part in the PG counselling process and improve their chances of admission into MD, MS, MCh or other postgraduate medical programmes at institutes of national importance.

Steps to Register for INI CET 2025 Open-Round Counselling

Candidates should complete the following steps before 7 February 2026:

1. Visit the official AIIMS counselling portal (aiimsexams.ac.in).
2. Log in to the INI CET 2025 counselling dashboard with valid credentials.
3. Complete the open-round registration form.
4. Fill and lock choices of institutes and courses as preferred.
5. Submit the form and note the confirmation message.

Ensuring accurate choice filling increases the chances of favourable seat allotments during the open round.

After Registration: What to Expect?

Once the open-round registration closes on 7 February 2026, the counselling authority will process all applications and prepare the seat allotment list, which will be released on 21 February 2026. Candidates should download the allotment PDF from the counselling portal and follow the subsequent reporting and admission procedures as instructed. Participation in the open round is crucial for many candidates whose seats were not allocated earlier, as this round may offer better opportunities based on updated choices and vacant seats across institutes.

Note: Candidates must keep track of official notifications on the AIIMS portal for any further updates or guidelines related to counselling, reporting dates and document verification.
