IIT Madras EMBA 2026 Applications Open: Eligibility & Key Dates

The IIT Madras Executive MBA (EMBA) 2026 program is now accepting applications for mid-career professionals seeking advanced management skills. The final deadline to apply is October 19, 2025, with classes scheduled to begin in January 2026.

Program Overview: Two-Year Weekend EMBA

The IIT Madras EMBA is a two-year, in-person program designed for working professionals. Classes are held on alternate weekends, enabling executives to balance full-time work with management education. The program emphasizes practical learning through three capstone projects, providing hands-on experience in addressing real business challenges. The curriculum combines technology-focused management training with a global business perspective, preparing participants for leadership roles. Students gain exposure to real-world business problems through case studies from institutions like Harvard Business School.

Eligibility Criteria for EMBA 2026

Candidates must meet the following requirements to apply:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks
• At least three years of post-graduation work experience
• Shortlisted candidates must attend the selection process on November 8–9, 2025, at IIT Madras campus

The selection includes a written aptitude test covering Business Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability, and Verbal Ability, followed by a personal interview.

International Immersion Learning Program

A unique feature of this EMBA batch is the International Immersion Learning Program, which offers a 10-day global exposure trip. Last year, participants visited IESEG School of Management in Paris, exploring Northern France and Belgium, including Lille and Brussels. The program combines classroom learning with field visits and emphasizes Global Leadership and Cultural Intelligence. It provides participants with hands-on experience in international business management and cross-cultural collaboration.
