IIT Kharagpur, one of India’s premier institutes, has signed an MoU with SNF Flopam India Pvt Ltd to strengthen collaborative research and technological innovation in the field of oil and gas engineering. The agreement was signed on December 1, 2025, at the institute campus. The collaboration aims to build a long-term partnership focused on developing advanced solutions for the energy sector.
A spokesperson from IIT Kharagpur confirmed that the partnership would boost joint research, industrial problem-solving, and innovation-driven initiatives. The two organisations plan to merge academic expertise with industrial experience to develop practical, scalable, and sustainable technologies for real-world application.
Scope of IIT Kharagpur–SNF Collaboration in Energy Research
