The minimum percentile required for shortlisting is as follows:
- General, EWS and OBC candidates: 80 percentile
- SC, ST and PwD candidates: 55 percentile
Only candidates meeting the minimum cut-off will be considered for the interview round.
IIT Kanpur MBA Interview Schedule 2026
The personal interview round will be conducted from 13 March 2026 to 16 March 2026. The interview process will be held in Noida and Kanpur. Shortlisted candidates are expected to receive interview communication by 15 February 2026.
Academic Eligibility for IIT Kanpur MBA Admission 2026
Along with a valid CAT 2025 score, candidates must meet the academic requirements prescribed by the institute.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 60% marks or CPI 6.0 on a 10-point scale for General, EWS and OBC candidates
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% marks or CPI 5.0 on a 10-point scale for SC, ST and PwD candidates
The qualifying degree must be awarded by a recognised university or institution.
