IIT JAM 2027 Brochure on Aug 22: Registration from Sept 5

The IIT JAM 2027 Information Brochure will be released on August 22, 2026. IIT Kharagpur, the organising institute, has also announced that registration for the postgraduate entrance exam will begin on September 5.

Candidates will be able to apply through the JAM Online Application Processing System (JOAPS). The application window will remain open until October 12, 2026. The brochure will provide detailed information on eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern, application fee, and admission rules.

IIT JAM 2027 Exam Papers

The examination will be conducted for seven test papers:

• Geology
• Mathematical Statistics
• Mathematics
• Physics

The exam will be conducted in two sessions on February 14, 2027.

Candidates planning to appear for two papers must select papers scheduled in different sessions.

IIT JAM 2027 Registration Through JOAPS

The application process will begin on September 5. Candidates will need to complete the registration and submit the application through JOAPS.

The basic process includes:

• Open the JOAPS registration portal.
