The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay will open the IIT JAM 2026 registration window from September 5, 2025, on the official portal — jam2026.iitb.ac.in. The application process will remain active until October 12, 2025.
IIT JAM 2026 Exam Schedule
The Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT JAM 2026) will be held in two shifts on February 15, 2026. The exam provides admission to MSc and Integrated MSc-PhD programmes across 22 IITs and the Indian Institute of Science (IISc).
This year, around 3,000 seats will be offered in postgraduate courses under IIT JAM 2026.
IIT JAM 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for IIT JAM 2026 must ensure they meet the eligibility conditions:
- Must hold a graduation degree or be in the final year of graduation.
- There is no upper age limit for the exam.
- The graduation degree must be completed by the time of admission.
- Valid proof of degree completion must be submitted within the timeline set by the respective institute.
