Categories of IIT-ISM Summer Research Internship Scheme
The internship programme is divided into multiple categories depending on the academic level of the applicant. Each category is designed to support different types of research engagement. The internship categories include:
- Category I: Undergraduate students pursuing BTech or equivalent programmes
- Category II: Postgraduate students such as MTech, MSc, or MBA
- Category III: Long-term research internship for advanced academic engagement
While Categories I and II generally run for one to two months, the long-term internship under Category III can extend for six to twelve months depending on the research project.
