December 30, 2025: IIT Delhi’s placement drive for the academic year 2025-26 has made a strong start, with students securing 1,275 job offers by December 2025. The total includes over 300 pre-placement offers (PPOs) and reflects robust employer interest across sectors despite broader global job market challenges. The placement season will continue until May 2026, offering further opportunities to graduating students. Out of the offers recorded so far, more than 1,140 individual students have received at least one placement opportunity. The increase in PPOs up over 33 per cent compared to the previous cycle underscores stronger early hiring from internships and pre-engagements.
Diverse Recruiters and Sectors Driving IIT Delhi Placements
Several major companies have participated in the ongoing placement season, offering multiple roles across technology, consulting, finance, analytics and engineering domains. Recruiters that have made double-digit offers include Accenture Strategy and Consulting, Amazon, American Express, Barclays, Deutsche India, EXL Services, EY GDS, EY Parthenon, Google, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Meesho, Microsoft, Oracle, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments and Wells Fargo International Solutions, among others. This wide participation highlights the strong demand for IIT Delhi graduates across industries and job functions, with many organisations returning as repeat recruiters and new companies engaging with students during the current placement cycle.
International Placement Opportunities for Graduates
Students at IIT Delhi have also capitalised on global opportunities, with over 35 international job offers secured from companies based in regions such as Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, the UAE and the United Kingdom. These overseas placements span roles in technology, research and consulting, reflecting the global recognition of IIT Delhi’s talent pool. The international offers further enhance the institute’s placement profile and provide broader career pathways for students willing to work outside India.
Outlook for the Remaining Placement Season
According to the institute’s Office of Career Services (OCS), the placement season remains active as additional recruiters are expected to participate through May 2026, bringing more opportunities for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. The ongoing placements follow a trend of growing engagement from top-tier companies, reflecting confidence in the academic preparedness and adaptability of IIT Delhi graduates. Recruiters continue to expand job roles across emerging technology areas, analytics, consulting and core engineering domains.
