IIT Delhi Launches 9th Online EV Technology Programme, Check Details

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) has launched the ninth batch of its Online Advanced Programme in Electric Vehicle Technology under its Continuing Education Programme (CEP). Interested candidates can apply for the programme till 19 March 2026. The programme is designed to provide in-depth knowledge of electric vehicle systems, battery technologies, power electronics, and EV policy frameworks, catering to professionals and learners interested in the evolving EV sector.

 

Programme Curriculum and Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will gain practical and theoretical understanding of key EV concepts, including:

  • Fundamentals of electric vehicles and drivetrains
  • Battery types, characteristics, and performance
  • Power electronics, converters, and interfaces
  • Cell manufacturing, battery modules, and pack design
  • Battery Management Systems (BMS) and charging standards
  • Electric vehicle policies and market outlook

The programme modules include Electric Vehicle Overview, Battery Characteristics, Fuel Cells and Supercapacitors, Power Electronics Interface, Cell-to-Pack Design, EV Policies, and EV Charging Technologies.

 

Certification Criteria

  • Participants completing all programme requirements will receive an official e-certificate from CEP, IIT Delhi
  • A Certificate of Completion will be awarded to candidates maintaining at least 50% attendance and scoring 50% or above overall
  • Participants scoring below 50% will receive a Participation Certificate, provided attendance criteria are met

 

Refund Policy

  • Participants may withdraw within 15 days from the programme start date and receive a refund of 80% of the programme fee
  • Taxes paid are non-refundable
  • No refund will be issued for withdrawal requests made after 15 days from the programme commencement
  • Eligible refunds will be processed within 30 working days of request submission
