The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has received a record alumni pledge of over INR 70 crore from its Class of 2000 during the batch’s silver jubilee reunion held on campus. This is the highest financial commitment by a single graduating batch in the institute’s history and underscores the strong bond between alumni and their alma mater. A significant portion of the pledged amount will be allocated to the institute’s General Endowment, which provides IIT Delhi with long-term financial flexibility to support a wide range of institutional priorities.
