The decision comes after a notable rise in the number of applications this season. According to the revised schedule, candidates can now submit the application form with the regular fee till November 5, 2025, while the late fee window will remain open till 5 PM on November 10, 2025. The UCEED 2026 examination is scheduled to take place on January 18, 2026, as per the original timeline. The official notification regarding the extension was issued on October 31, 2025.

Candidates can complete the UCEED 2026 registration process through the official portal by following the steps below:
- Visit the official website — uceed.iitb.ac.in/2026
- Click on the “Registration Portal” link for UCEED 2026
- Create an account using a valid email ID
- Verify the email and log in with the registered credentials
- Fill in personal, academic, and contact details
- Upload scanned copies of required documents
- Choose three preferred exam cities
- Pay the registration fee online
- Review and submit the form, then download the confirmation page
UCEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants from Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities streams can apply, provided they meet the age and educational requirements.
Candidates must have appeared for the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2025 or 2026. Those who appeared before 2024 are not eligible. Each candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two consecutive times.
