The IISER Aptitude Test is the main entrance route for admission to undergraduate programmes offered by IISER campuses across India.
IISER IAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions before applying:
- Applicants must be Indian citizens, PIOs, or OCIs.
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 (science stream) in 2024, 2025, or 2026.
- Students must have studied at least three subjects among Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
- Minimum marks required:
- 60% aggregate for General/OBC/EWS categories
- 55% aggregate for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
IISER IAT 2026 Application Fee
The application fee for the entrance exam is:
- ₹2000 – General, OBC and EWS categories
- ₹1000 – SC, ST and PwD candidates
- USD 100 – Foreign nationals.
The fee must be paid online through net banking, debit card or credit card during the application process.
