IISER 2026 application form released, IAT registration open till April 13

New Delhi: The application process for the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2026 has started, allowing candidates to register for admission to undergraduate science programmes offered by the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs). According to the official schedule, the IISER 2026 application form was released on March 5, and candidates can complete the online registration until April 13, 2026. Steps to apply for IISER IAT 2026

Candidates can follow these steps to fill out the application form:

1. Register on the official IISER admission portal using basic details such as name, email ID, and mobile number.
2. Log in with the generated credentials and fill out personal and academic information.
3. Upload scanned copies of required documents such as photograph and signature.
4. Select preferred exam cities and course preferences.
5. Pay the application fee online and submit the form.

IISER Application fee and eligibility

The application fee for IISER 2026 is ₹2,000 for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates and ₹1,000 for SC, ST, and PwD categories. To be eligible, applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in the science stream with at least 60% marks (55% for reserved categories).

IISER admission and exam pattern

The IISER Aptitude Test will be conducted for three hours and will include multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus.
