IISER 2025 Counselling Registration and Choice-Filling has now been extended to July 7, 2025, by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research. Candidates can complete their registration and choice-filling form by 5:00 PM on July 7, 2025. The extension of the deadline was made by the IISER, as many of the candidates failed to complete their forms. Earlier, the deadline to complete the registration and choice filling was July 3, 2025. The IISER Result 2025 was announced on June 24, 2025. The registration process commenced on June 26, 2025.
IISER 2025 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria
Before registering, the candidate must look over the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research. The required eligibility criteria for the IISER 2025 Counselling are as follows:
- The candidate must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board in the science stream with a minimum 60% of aggregate marks.
- The candidate must have studied any three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics. For some programs, mathematics is one of the 10+2 subjects that is mandatory.
- The candidate applying for the IISER 2025 Counselling must have qualified IISER IAT 2025 exam.
How To Register For The IISER 2025 Counselling?
As the deadline for registering and choice filling has been extended by the IISER. So, the candidates who failed to complete the registration form can now complete the form till July 7, 2025. Here are the steps that need to be followed:
- Visit the official website, iiseradmission.in.
- Click on the registration link.
- Enter the required details to create a username and password.
- After that, go back to the homepage and again log in with your credentials,i.e., registered email and password.
- Enter all your personal and academic details and upload the documents.
- Proceeding further, candidates are required to pay INR 2000 for General/OBC/EWS and INR 1000 for SC/ST/PwD as the application fee.
- Submit and save it for future reference.
How To Fill The IISER 2025 Preference Form?
While registering for the IISER 2025 Counselling process, candidate has to fill the preference form according to their preferences. Here are some important things that candidates must keep in mind while filling out the preference form:
- Candidates must fill out the preference order by placing their most preferred program at the top and the least preferred at the bottom.
- The candidate has to fill in at least 1 preference and a maximum of 11 preferences in the form.
- The programmes filled by the candidate in the IISER preference form are the only courses that will be offered to the candidate. No other selected program will be offered to that candidate.
- As the deadline for completing the registration and choice filling has been extended, this time the candidate must complete the form before the revised deadline, i.e., 5:00 PM on July 7, 2025.
- Candidates are not able to make any sort of changes in the admission portal except for the category information.

After the seat allotment result, candidates must carry some important documents along with them while reporting to the allotted college. The candidate must carry the original document along with self-attested photocopies of the documents. The list of documents required for document verification is:
