IIMA PGP Summer Placements 2025-26: 410 Students Placed

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad successfully completed the Summer Placements Process for the PGP Class of 2027, recording a strong hiring season across all three clusters. A total of 410 students were placed, with the institute confirming that more than 50 new recruiters participated this year, including Apple, Dainik Bhaskar, FirstPrinciples, Fitpass, Gaja Capital, Haleon, HDFC AMC, Hero MotoCorp, JioStar, Lighthouse Canton, Medtronic India, and several others. The institute noted a rise in the number of offers from long-standing recruiters, signalling continued industry confidence in IIMA’s talent pool.

 

Cluster-Wise Placement Summary

The Summer Placements were conducted across three clusters held on October 28, October 31, and November 3, 2025.

 

Cluster 1: Consulting and Finance Lead Hiring

Cluster 1 saw strong participation from consulting, investment banking, and PE/VC firms.

  • Bain & Company (15)
  • Kearney (15)

In Investment Banking and Markets:

  • Goldman Sachs (11)
  • Standard Chartered Bank (9)

In Private Equity & VC:

  • Blackstone, Gaja Capital, Ares participated actively.

Major non-consulting recruiters included Accenture Strategy, which made a combined 39 offers across its India and Global units.

 

Cluster 2: FinIQ, M&M, JioStar Drive Offers

Cluster 2 recorded strong hiring in FMCG, tech, and conglomerate cohorts.

The institute noted a notable increase in offers from FMCG and conglomerate recruiters compared to last year.

 

Cluster 3: TCS, Adobe, Microsoft Among Top Recruiters

Cluster 3 recorded hiring across niche consulting, technology, infrastructure, and manufacturing.

  • Tata Consultancy Services (13) in Niche Consulting
  • Adobe (5) and Microsoft (4) in Enterprise Tech
  • Hero MotoCorp (3) and Tata Steel (3) in Core Manufacturing
  • Suzuki Japan (2)

International opportunities came from firms offering roles in the Middle East, Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Rise in Dream Applications This Year

The institute reported over 280 dream applications submitted by 117 students—a rise of more than 15% compared to last year. IIMA stated that this reflects greater freedom for students to explore their preferred roles under the Dream Matrix system.
