IIM Raipur to Coordinate JAP 2026 Admissions Across Four IIMs as part of a unified and standardised admission framework for the upcoming MBA admission cycle. The Joint Admission Process will streamline selection by allowing candidates to apply through a common platform instead of multiple institute-specific processes. Under this framework, admissions will be conducted jointly for IIM Kashipur, IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi, and IIM Tiruchirappalli, reducing procedural complexity for applicants and ensuring uniform evaluation standards.
JAP 2026 Admission Framework and Participating IIMs
The Joint Admission Process is designed to offer a single-window admission mechanism for shortlisted candidates. Instead of submitting separate applications to each institute, candidates will complete one registration under JAP 2026, after which all participating IIMs will draw from a common applicant pool. The four participating institutes under JAP 2026 are:
- Indian Institute of Management Kashipur
- Indian Institute of Management Raipur
- Indian Institute of Management Ranchi
- Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli
Each institute will continue to maintain its individual admission criteria while adhering to the common JAP structure for shortlisting and interview coordination.
JAP 2026 Registration and PI Shortlisting Process
Under JAP 2026, candidates will first complete registration through the shared admission platform. Once registration concludes, shortlisting for the Personal Interview stage will be carried out from the combined pool of registered candidates. Institute-wise and category-wise cut-off scores for PI shortlisting will be announced separately by the participating IIMs at a later stage. While the admission process is unified, final selection decisions will remain institute-specific, based on individual evaluation parameters. According to official information, the Personal Interview stage for JAP 2026 is tentatively scheduled between February and March 2026. Detailed schedules, interview formats, and shortlisting criteria will be communicated to shortlisted candidates in advance.
Role of IIM Raipur as Coordinating Institute
As the coordinating institute, IIM Raipur will oversee the overall planning, execution, and monitoring of the Joint Admission Process. This includes managing registration workflows, coordinating PI schedules, and ensuring consistent implementation of JAP guidelines across all participating institutes. IIM Raipur will also act as the central point for administrative coordination, helping maintain transparency and efficiency throughout the admission cycle. Candidates aspiring for admission through JAP 2026 are advised to regularly track official announcements issued by the participating IIMs to stay informed about registration timelines, shortlisting updates, and interview schedules.
