The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has successfully completed the summer placement process for its 2025–27 batch, recording strong participation from leading global recruiters. A total of 580 internship offers were extended to students from the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Agribusiness Management (PGP-ABM).
Record Stipends and Improved Averages in 2025 Drive
According to the official report, the highest domestic stipend stood at INR 3.95 lakh per month, while the highest international stipend reached INR 2.5 lakh per month. The average stipend rose to INR 1.67 lakh per month, up from INR 1.43 lakh in the previous cycle. The median stipend also improved to INR 1.72 lakh, compared to INR 1.50 lakh last year. Notably, the top 50 percent of the cohort secured an average stipend of INR 2.18 lakh per month, reflecting the institute’s continued growth in recruiter confidence. Prof. Prem Prakash Dewani, Placement Chairperson, expressed satisfaction with the results, stating that the strong recruiter turnout highlighted the “exceptional talent pool nurtured at IIM Lucknow” and reaffirmed the institute’s commitment to industry collaboration.
Diverse Batch Profile and Sector Representation
The 2025–27 batch includes 187 fresh graduates and 345 students with prior work experience from varied industries. This balanced profile helped participants secure offers across domains such as Consulting, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Operations, Retail, and e-Commerce. A unique feature this year was the participation of Adani Group, which offered selected interns a tuition waiver alongside a competitive stipend.
Top Recruiters and New Entrants in the 2025 Placement Season
The summer placement witnessed the return of major recruiters such as Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Amazon, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Deloitte, EY Parthenon, Goldman Sachs, Google, ITC, J.P. Morgan Chase, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, Procter & Gamble, PwC, Reliance, and VISA. Several first-time recruiters also joined the process, including Barclays (RSG), CRISIL, D.E. Shaw, Dream Incubator, Edelweiss, Henkel, HSBC (IB), India Alternatives, Michelin, Mondelez, Morgan Stanley (IB), Nivea, Salesforce, Shapoorji Pallonji, and Wells Fargo.
