The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has officially commenced admissions for the 19th cohort of its Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) in Management. This two-year program is meticulously crafted for working professionals eager to elevate their leadership and management capabilities while balancing their ongoing careers.
During a recent media event, Prof. Debashis Chatterjee, the Director of IIM Kozhikode, emphasized the significance of the EPGP in equipping professionals from diverse industries with essential leadership skills. He pointed out that the program is particularly relevant in today’s business landscape, where proficiency in data analytics and artificial intelligence is increasingly crucial.
“The EPGP has consistently attracted professionals from various sectors and stages of their careers. Our goal is to cultivate globally aware and technologically adept leaders capable of navigating change,” stated Prof. Chatterjee.
Record Participation and Diverse Backgrounds
The previous cohort, the 18th batch, achieved a remarkable milestone with 672 participants, marking it as the largest Executive MBA group in the institute’s history. Notably, the representation of women in this batch reached 29%, the highest percentage recorded to date.

Program Structure and Learning Experience
The EPGP integrates online learning with immersive campus experiences, providing over 750 contact hours throughout the two-year duration. In the first year, participants engage with core subjects designed to build a solid foundation in management principles.
In the second year, learners have the flexibility to select from a variety of electives, allowing them to tailor their education to their specific career aspirations. The program employs an interactive learning platform, utilizing diverse teaching methods such as:

Additionally, participants will partake in three one-week campus immersion sessions. An optional international immersion is also available, offering a chance for global exposure and networking.
