IIM Jammu IPM Admission Policy 2026 Out, JIPMAT to Carry 70% Weightage

IIM Jammu has released the IPM admission policy 2026-31, confirming that admissions will be based on JIPMAT 2026scores. The institute has assigned 70% weightage to JIPMAT and 15% each to Class 10 and Class 12 performance for merit list preparation.

The policy applies to candidates aspiring to join the 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) for the 2026-31 batch. This year, the institute has removed the gender diversity weightage.

Eligibility and Drop Criteria for IPM 2026

IIM Jammu has confirmed that the two-year drop rule will continue. This means:

  • Candidates must have completed Class 12 in 2024, 2025, or 2026.

Possible Joint IPM Entrance Test in Future

With the release of the latest policy, IIM Jammu has once again expressed interest in forming a joint entrance exam with other IIMs offering IPM programmes. This indicates the possibility of a future common entrance test for IPM admissions across multiple IIMs.
