IIM Calcutta MBA Summer Placements 2025 – Highest INR 6 Lakh/Month

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM Calcutta) concluded the summer-placements drive for the 62nd MBA batch on 17 October 2025. A total of 470 students secured 510 offers, yielding a 100 % placement outcome. This year’s drive featured 183 recruiters, up from 175 in the previous cycle, signalling stronger industry engagement.

The average monthly stipend for 2025 stood at INR 1.85 lakh, a small dip compared with the previous year. The median (i.e., mid-point) monthly stipend was INR 2 lakh. High-end outcomes included:

• Highest international monthly stipend: INR 6 lakh
• Top five-percentile stipend: INR 3.4 lakh/month

Sectoral participation and placement process insights

Recruiters from sectors such as consulting, finance, FMCG, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, software and technology took part. IIM Calcutta stated that both legacy recruiters and first-time domestic and global firms supported the drive. The institute noted that a “cluster-cohort placement process” and policies around a “dream offer” enabled better student-recruiter fit and helped manage the process.
