Admission Process for IIM Bangalore 2026
The selection process for the PGP/MBA programme (2025–2027 batch) involves multiple stages:
- Shortlisting: Based on a composite score, where CAT 2025 accounts for 55% weightage. Academic records (Class 10, 12, graduation), work experience, and gender diversity are also considered.
- Written Ability Test (WAT) & Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who clear sectional and overall cut-offs appear for WAT and PI.
- Final Selection: Composite score includes scaled CAT marks, WAT (10%), PI (40%), academics, and work experience.

For the 2022–24 batch, 1,742 candidates were shortlisted. The General category cutoff was 56.42, while the ST category had the lowest cutoff at 31.09. Out of the shortlisted candidates, 480 seats were filled, with 196 in the General category and 17 in PwD.
