IIM Ahmedabad Tightens Admission Norms For Upcoming PGP 2026-28 Batch

IIM Ahmedabad has raised its bar for the admission of the upcoming batch of the PGP. The authority has raised the cutoff for the post-graduate aspirants after making a change in their undergraduate cutoff. IIM Ahmedabad decided to make the competition tougher for the candidates seeking admission in the Indian Institute of Management- Ahmedabad.
IIM Ahmedabad 2025 Qualifying Cutoff
Candidates seeking admission in the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad for the Post Graduate Courses must score the minimum required percentage of marks to be eligible for further admission process. The candidates of the General/EWS Category have to score a minimum of 95 and 85 in each section. The cutoff for the reserved category might be lower than the General/EWS Cutoff.
IIM Ahmedabad 2025 Admission Process
The candidate seeking admission to the IIM Ahmedabad must read the required criteria for each level to complete their admission and secure a seat in the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
Personal Interview and Analytical Writing Test
The candidate will be considered eligible for further admission process if the candidate meets the required criteria. The IIM Ahmedabad authority gives 65% weightage to the candidate’s CAT performance, and the remaining 35% weightage is given to Application Rating. Application Rating includes Class 10th marks, Class 12th or equivalent marks, Graduation marks, Work experience, and gender diversity.
