The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) successfully concluded Cluster-1 of summer placements for the PGP Class of 2027 on October 28, 2025. The cluster included six key cohorts: Management Consulting, Transformation & Operations Consulting, Advisory Consulting, Cards & Financial Advisory, Investment Banking & Markets, and PE/VC, Asset Management & Hedge Funds.
The placement drive was conducted in hybrid mode, with companies participating both on campus and online. Over 80 roles were offered during this cluster.

Top recruiters in this round included Accenture Strategy (India Market Unit & Global Network), Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, and Kearney. Other consulting firms such as Alvarez & Marsal, EY-Parthenon, Kepler Cannon, L.E.K. Consulting, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Strategy&, Vector Consulting Group, and YCP Auctus also extended offers.
In the Investment Banking & Markets cohort, companies hiring in large numbers included Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered Bank. Other prominent recruiters were Avendus Capital, Bank of America, Barclays, Citibank, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley.
For the Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Asset Management cohort, participating firms included Ares Management, Blackstone Group, Faering Capital, Gaja Capital, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Piramal Alternatives, and Premji Invest.
In the Cards & Financial Advisory segment, top recruiters included American Express, Cranmore Partners, and Synergy Consulting.
The cluster also featured international offers from Goldman Sachs (Hong Kong/Singapore), HSBC (Hong Kong), and Strategy& (Middle East).

The next rounds of placements, Cluster-2 and Cluster-3, are scheduled for October 31 and November 3, 2025, respectively.
