IIM Ahmedabad Launches Blended MBA in Business Analytics & AI

The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has introduced a new two-year Blended MBA Programme in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This innovative programme is designed for working professionals and entrepreneurs aiming to combine analytical and AI-driven insights with strategic, leadership, and managerial capabilities. According to IIMA, the newly launched programme seeks to upskill professionals engaged in data-intensive sectors such as marketing, finance, supply chain, operations, IT, human resources, logistics, legal, and consulting.

IIM Ahmedabad Blended MBA in Business Analytics & AI: Overview

• Programme Duration: Two years (Blended Mode)
• Mode: Hybrid learning with online and on-campus modules
• Target Group: Working professionals and entrepreneurs
• Admission Mode: CAT/GMAT/GRE/IIMA Admission Test
• First Admission Test: December 14, 2025

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Blended MBA in Business Analytics & AI, candidates must fulfil the following eligibility requirements:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree, CA, CS, ICWA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification in any discipline.
• Have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognised university or institution.
• Working professionals and entrepreneurs must possess:
  • A minimum of three years of full-time work experience after completing a three-year graduation (10+2+3+3 pattern), or
  • Two years of full-time experience after completing a four-year graduation (10+2+4+2 pattern) as on March 31, 2026.

Accepted Test Scores

Applicants must submit a valid test score taken within the last five years —

• CAT, GMAT (Classic/Focus), or GRE scores (test dates not earlier than January 1, 2021) OR
• Appear for Round-1 IIMA Admission Test for BPGP: BA & AI, scheduled for December 14, 2025.
