ICSI Opens CSEET 2026 Mock Test Link Ahead of January 10 Exam

ICSI CSEET 2026 mock test link has been opened by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India for candidates appearing in the upcoming Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET). The mock test is designed to help aspirants familiarise themselves with the remote proctored examination environment ahead of the main examination. The CSEET 2026 examination for the January session is scheduled for January 10, 2026, and the mock test provides an opportunity to practice the interface, login process, and technical setup before the actual exam.

CSEET 2026 Mock Test Details

The mock test will be of two hours’ duration and is available on the official ICSI portal. Candidates who have registered for the CSEET exam will need to use the user ID and password communicated to them to access the mock platform. ICSI has instructed candidates to log in at least 30 minutes before the scheduled mock test start time to avoid last-minute technical issues. The mock test is mandatory for candidates as it familiarises them with the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) and the remote proctoring system that will be used for the January 2026 session. Aspirants must ensure the SEB is installed on their desktop or laptop well before the mock session to avoid connectivity or compatibility problems.

Purpose and Importance of the Mock Test

ICSI has emphasised that appearing in the mock test is important due to the exam’s remote proctored mode. This test allows candidates to understand how the exam interface works, including navigation, question display, and answer submission in the proctored environment. Remote proctored exams involve an online setup where candidates appear for the test from home or another secure location while being monitored. Familiarity with the mock environment helps reduce anxiety and technical challenges on the January 10 exam date itself.

CSEET 2026 Exam Overview

The Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) 2026 January session will be conducted by ICSI in remote proctored mode. The exam starts at a fixed time as per the admit card and covers multiple sections that test candidates’ aptitude in areas relevant to future Company Secretary studies. Candidates should also ensure they have access to stable internet and a compatible system for the exam. Technical readiness is as crucial as academic preparation for success in the CSEET 2026 session.
