ICAI CA September 2025 Result Update: Likely in Early November

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has confirmed that the evaluation for the CA September 2025 exams is still in progress. While speculation on social media and some media reports suggested that results could be released by November 6, 2025, the board has not officially confirmed any date. An ICAI official, speaking anonymously, stated, “Currently evaluation is ongoing; no result date can be stipulated at this moment.” Candidates are advised to stay updated through the official ICAI website icai.org for accurate announcements.

ICAI CA September 2025 Exam Schedule

The September 2025 session included all three levels of the Chartered Accountancy programme – Foundation, Intermediate, and Final. The detailed exam schedule was as follows:

• Final exams: September 3–14, 2025
• Intermediate exams: September 4–15, 2025
• Foundation exams: September 16, 18, 20, and 22, 2025

In some exam centres, particularly in Punjab and Jammu, initial papers scheduled for September 3 and 4 were postponed due to heavy rainfall.

Participation Trends

Over recent sessions, the number of candidates appearing for ICAI exams has remained substantial. During the May 2025 cycle, approximately 99,000 candidates registered for Final exams, while 82,000 candidates appeared for Foundation level. For perspective, the May 2025 CA results were announced on July 6, 2025, and the September 2024 session results were declared on October 30, 2024. Based on this pattern, candidates and coaching experts anticipate that September 2025 results may be released in early November 2025, though no formal notification has been issued by ICAI yet.
