The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has released the IB MTS Admit Card 2026 for aspirants appearing in the Tier 1 examination scheduled for 27 January 2026. Candidates who applied for Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment can download their hall tickets from the official portal mha.gov.in using valid login credentials.

 

How to Download IB MTS Admit Card 2026?

Registered candidates must follow a straightforward process to access their admit card:

  • Visit the official website mha.gov.in and go to the recruitment/admit card section.
  • Click on the IB MTS Admit Card 2026 link.
  • Enter your Registration ID/Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.
  • Submit the CAPTCHA and download the hall ticket PDF.

Candidates should print multiple copies for the examination day requirements.

 

IB MTS Tier 1 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

The Tier 1 examination will be conducted in online CBT mode and comprises 100 objective-type questions worth 100 marks in total. Here’s the subject-wise breakdown:

  • Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer; 0.25 marks deducted for each incorrect response.

 

Important Exam-Day Instructions

To ensure a smooth examination experience, candidates should note the following:

  • Carry a printed admit card, along with a valid original photo ID such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License or PAN Card.
  • Reach the exam centre well before the reporting time stated on the hall ticket.
  • Electronic devices (mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, Bluetooth devices) are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall.
  • Bring passport-size photographs (matching the application photo) to speed up identity verification.
