The Intelligence Bureau has officially announced the IB ACIO Exam Date 2025 for the Tier I stage. The exam will be conducted on 16, 17 and 18 September 2025 in three shifts each day. Candidates can now check their city intimation slip from 5 September 2025, while the admit card will be available by 13 September 2025.
The IB ACIO Tier I exam carries 100 marks with a duration of 1 hour. It is an objective-type test with five key sections: Current Affairs, General Studies, Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Aptitude, and English Language. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every incorrect answer.

IB ACIO Exam 2025 Shift Schedule
The Tier I exam will be conducted in three shifts daily. Candidates must report to the exam centre as per their allotted shift.
Candidates are advised to carry their admit card, a valid photo ID, and follow the instructions mentioned on the exam day.

The exam will be conducted in MCQ format. The distribution of questions and marks is as follows:
- Current Affairs – 20 Questions for 20 Marks
- General Studies – 20 Questions for 20 Marks
- Numerical Aptitude – 20 Questions for 20 Marks
- Reasoning & Logical Aptitude – 20 Questions for 20 Marks
- English Language – 20 Questions for 20 Marks
