The Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026, earlier planned for 17 and 18 January 2026, has been postponed by the Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH). The board has removed the earlier dates from the official schedule and is expected to announce new dates soon, likely in the last week of January 2026. Admit cards are anticipated to be released after 20 January 2026 once the revised schedule is confirmed.

HTET 2026 Exam Postponed: New Dates Expected in Late January

The Board of School Education, Haryana (BSEH) has postponed the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) 2026, which was originally scheduled for 17 and 18 January 2026 across all levels, Primary Teacher (PRT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher (PGT). The change was reflected when the previously announced dates were removed from the Important Dates section on the official HTET portal, indicating a rescheduling of the exam. Although no separate postponement notification has been formally issued, the removal of dates from the official schedule signifies the board’s revised plan. BSEH Chairman Dr. Pawan Kumar noted that the earlier dates were tentative and the final timetable is still being finalized.

 

Revised HTET 2026 Timeline and Admit Card Info

With the tentative dates removed, the HTET 2026 exam is now expected to be conducted in the last week of January 2026. Candidates should continue preparation as usual and wait for the official announcement. Once the revised schedule is announced:

  • HTET 2026 Exam Dates will be updated on the official HTET website and BSEH’s portal.
  • HTET Admit Cards are likely to be released after 20 January 2026, following confirmation of the final timetable.
  • No fresh applications are expected since the registration process was completed before the original deadline.
