Haryana Police SPO Recruitment 2026: 400 Posts, Last Date Today

Haryana Police has invited applications for 400 Special Police Officer (SPO) posts in its Telecommunication Wing. The recruitment is being conducted under Section 21 of the Haryana Police Act, 2007.

The engagement is open to eligible ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), along with eligible former constables of disbanded HSISF and HAP battalions. The district-wise application and interview process is being conducted from August 24 to August 27, 2026.

Haryana Police SPO Vacancy 2026

The recruitment drive aims to engage 400 Special Police Officers in the Telecommunication Wing of Haryana Police. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience handling telecommunication equipment, particularly those who served in the Signal Corps of the Armed Forces or CAPFs.

The engagement will initially be for one year or until regular appointments are made, whichever is earlier.

Haryana Police SPO Eligibility 2026

Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:

• Must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
• Age should be between 25 and 50 years as on the date of advertisement.
• Candidates should be ex-servicemen of the Armed Forces or CAPFs.
• Eligible former constables of disbanded HSISF/HAP battalions can also apply.
• Armed Forces/CAPF candidates must have at least five years of service.
• Candidates dismissed or removed for indiscipline, misconduct or medical unfitness are not eligible.
• Medical category at discharge should be A.
• Character certificate at discharge should be Exemplary/Outstanding.

Haryana Police SPO Recruitment 2026: District-Wise Dates

Candidates must appear in person on the date assigned to their district. No application will be accepted after the prescribed date for the concerned district.

Applications and documents will be received from 9:00 AM onwards at Police Lines Telecommunication, opposite Sector-25, near Village Moginand, Panchkula, Haryana.

How to Apply for Haryana Police SPO Recruitment 2026

Candidates need to follow the offline application process:

• Download and fill out the prescribed application form.
• Fill the form in capital letters.
• Attach the required documents and affidavits.
• Carry the original documents along with one set of attested photocopies.
• Carry four passport-size coloured photographs.
• Appear personally at the designated venue on the date fixed for the candidate's district.
• Submit the application and documents and attend the interview.

No written or physical test will be conducted for the recruitment. Selected candidates will undergo medical examination and character and antecedent verification before appointment.

Haryana Police SPO Salary 2026

Selected SPOs will receive a monthly honorarium of INR 20,000. A one-time uniform allowance of INR 3,000 will also be provided. For official tours, eligible SPOs will receive TA/DA of INR 150 per day.
