Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board closes GUJCET 2026 answer key challenge on April 8. Final key will follow review. Result likely in May. Counselling by Admission Committee for Professional Courses.
The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board will close the GUJCET 2026 answer key challenge window today, April 8. Candidates who appeared for the Gujarat Common Entrance Test must submit their objections against the provisional answer key within the stipulated deadline. The board had released the provisional answer key on April 4, enabling candidates to review their responses and estimate their probable scores.
GUJCET 2026 Answer Key Objection Process
Candidates who find discrepancies in the answer key can raise objections by following the official procedure:
- Download the objection form released by GSEB
- Fill in details like question paper number and question ID
- Attach valid supporting documents for each challenge
- Pay a fee of ₹500 per question via e-challan
- Email the completed form along with payment proof to the official email ID
- Provide bank details for refund (if the challenge is accepted)
The board has clarified that the objection fee will be refunded if the challenge is found valid after verification.
What After the Challenge Window Closes?
Once the objection window closes, subject experts will review all the challenges submitted by candidates. Based on this evaluation, the final answer key will be prepared and released. The final result will be calculated using this revised answer key to ensure accuracy and fairness in the evaluation process.
GUJCET 2026 Result Date (Expected)
Although the board has not officially announced the result date, the GUJCET 2026 result is expected to be declared in the first week of May 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for updates regarding the final answer key and result announcement.
Importance of GUJCET Score
The GUJCET score plays a crucial role in admission to undergraduate engineering and pharmacy courses across Gujarat. The final merit list is prepared by considering both GUJCET scores and Class 12 marks as per state admission policy.
What Happens After the GUJCET Result?
After the declaration of results:
- Eligible candidates can participate in the counselling process
- Admissions will be conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses
- Seats will be allotted based on merit, preferences, and availability
Key Advisory for GUJCET Candidates
Candidates must ensure they complete the answer key challenge process before the deadline today. Missing this opportunity means they will not be able to raise objections later. It is also recommended to keep all required documents ready and stay updated with official announcements for the next stages of admission
