The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the official schedule for the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) board examinations 2026. The exams are set to begin on February 26 and continue till March 16, 2026.
Gujarat Board Exam Dates 2026 Announced
The GSEB Class 10 Board Exams will be held in the morning session from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM, with each subject carrying 80 marks, except for vocational courses. Key subject dates for SSC students are as follows:
GSEB Class 12 Exam Schedule 2026
The Class 12 Science stream exams will also start on February 26 and conclude on March 13, 2026, conducted in the afternoon session (3:00 PM to 6:30 PM).
Each Science paper will be divided into two parts:
- Part A: OMR-based section with 50 multiple-choice questions (50 marks)
- Part B: Descriptive questions (50 marks)
For General and Vocational streams, exams will take place between February 26 and March 16 in the afternoon session (3:00 PM to 6:15 PM). Meanwhile, Sanskrit exams will be conducted under two categories — Pratham from February 26 to March 3 (morning) and Madhyama from February 26 to March 13 (afternoon).
GSEB Exam Registration 2026 Open
The Board has also opened the online registration process for the upcoming 2026 examinations. Students of Class 10, Class 12 (General, Science, Vocational, U.U. Basic streams), and Sanskrit Pratham and Madhyama exams can submit their exam forms through the official website.
Schools have been instructed to assist students with registration and verification of details to ensure accuracy. The Board has also directed institutions to communicate the exam schedule promptly and follow all protocols for smooth conduct.
