The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has revised the GSEB SSC and HSC exam dates 2026. The board has changed the schedule for the papers earlier planned for March 4, 2026, as the day has been declared a holiday. Students of Class 10 and Class 12 must check the updated timetable to plan their preparation.
As per the previous timetable, the GSEB SSC and HSC exams 2026 were set to run from February 26, 2026 to March 16, 2026. Now, the papers falling on March 4, 2026 have been shifted to new dates in March. The Gujarat board has issued an official notification regarding the updated schedule, and students can download the revised dates from the board portal.
GSEB SSC, HSC Exam 2026: Why the Dates Were Changed
The exams scheduled on March 4, 2026 had to be postponed because the state declared the day a holiday. To ensure that no student faces any inconvenience, the board has rescheduled the affected papers for suitable dates later in March. All other exam dates remain unchanged.
Students of SSC, HSC General Stream, HSC Science, Sanskrit Pratham and Sanskrit Madhyama must take note of the revised schedule. The board has advised all schools and students to follow the new dates for their respective subjects.

What Students Should Do Now?
Students must update their study plans based on the revised timetable. They should check the new exam dates carefully, especially those appearing for Social Science, Biology, Mathematics, Physics and other key subjects shifted to March 16, March 17 and March 18.
Schools have been instructed to inform students immediately about the changes. Candidates must also stay in touch with their school authorities for any further updates.
