New Delhi: The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2026 is being conducted today, March 7, in computer-based mode at various examination centres across the country. The entrance exam is held for admission to MPharm programmes offered by participating institutes. The exam is scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon, with a duration of three hours. Candidates must follow the guidelines issued by the exam authority to ensure smooth entry and avoid disqualification from the test.

 

GPAT 2026 Documents to carry to the exam centre

Candidates appearing for the exam must bring the following mandatory documents:

  • Printed GPAT 2026 admit card
  • Valid photo identity proof such as PAN card, voter ID, passport, or driving licence
  • PwD certificate if applicable for candidates using a scribe

These documents are required for verification at the exam centre.

GPAT 2026 exam day don’ts

Certain items are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall. Candidates should not carry:

  • Bluetooth devices or other electronic gadgets

If a candidate violates the exam rules or brings restricted items, they may be disqualified from the examination.

 

GPAT exam pattern overview

The GPAT 2026 question paper consists of 125 multiple-choice questions carrying a total of 500 marks. Each correct answer carries four marks, while one mark is deducted for every incorrect response. Questions are asked from major BPharm subjects such as pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and pharmacognosy.
