The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has opened the GPAT 2026 application correction window today, 16 January 2026. Candidates who successfully submitted their application forms before the deadline can now make corrections through the official website natboard.edu.in.
The correction facility is available for a limited period, and applicants are advised to review their details carefully before final submission.
GPAT 2026 Application Form Correction Dates
As per the official schedule, candidates can edit their GPAT 2026 application forms till 19 January 2026. To access the correction window, candidates must log in using their registered user ID and password. NBEMS has clarified that only one-time correction is permitted. Once the edited form is submitted, no further changes will be allowed.
Details That Can and Cannot Be Edited
During the GPAT 2026 correction process, candidates are allowed to modify most of the application details. However, certain fields have been locked and cannot be changed. The following details cannot be edited:
- Candidate’s name
- Nationality
- Email ID
- Mobile number
- GPAT test centre
All other permissible details should be corrected carefully to avoid issues during later stages of the examination process.
GPAT 2026 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
GPAT 2026 will be conducted as a computer-based test in a single shift from 2 pm to 5 pm. The examination is held for admission to MPharm programmes across India. Key exam details include:
- Total questions: 125 multiple-choice questions
- Total marks: 500
- Duration: 3 hours
- Correct answer: +4 marks
- Incorrect answer: –1 mark
- Unanswered questions: 0 marks
Questions will be based on core pharmacy subjects as per the prescribed syllabus.
GPAT 2026 Image Correction and Important Dates
NBEMS has also announced the schedule for correcting incorrect or incomplete images. The pre-edit image correction window will be open from 6 February to 9 February 2026. Another opportunity to update images will be provided from 17 February to 19 February 2026.
The GPAT city intimation slip will be released on 24 February 2026, followed by the GPAT admit card on 2 March 2026. The GPAT 2026 result is scheduled to be announced on 7 April 2026.
