The Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has achieved accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), placing it among the top six per cent of business schools worldwide. This recognition underscores GIM’s commitment to high-quality management education and academic excellence.
AACSB Accreditation: A Benchmark for Management Education
AACSB accreditation evaluates institutions based on teaching standards, research output, faculty qualifications, and measurable student learning outcomes. Only a select number of management schools globally meet these rigorous standards, making accreditation a significant milestone for GIM.
The evaluation process spanned several years and included self-assessment, peer reviews, and a final on-campus visit by senior academics from accredited institutions. Key areas of focus were curriculum design, faculty research, and demonstrable learning results.

GIM now joins other Indian institutes with AACSB accreditation, including IIM Calcutta, IIM Indore, and SP Jain Institute of Management and Research.
