Goa Institute of Management (GIM) has commenced admissions for its 2026–28 postgraduate batch, offering applications for five PG programmes. Aspiring candidates can apply for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), Healthcare Management (HCM), Big Data Analytics (BDA), Banking, Insurance and Financial Services (BIFS), and International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA).

 

GIM 2026–28 Admission Programmes Overview

The PGDM programme continues to be the most sought-after, while the other specialised courses have gained significant interest in recent years.

  • Healthcare Management (HCM): Prepares students for careers in hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare services.
  • Big Data Analytics (BDA): Focuses on data-driven decision-making, analytics, and artificial intelligence.
  • Banking, Insurance, and Financial Services (BIFS): Trains candidates for roles in banking, fintech, and insurance sectors.
  • International Double Degree in Analytics (IDA): Enables students to complete the first year at GIM, followed by the second year at partner institutions abroad, including leading European business schools.

 

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least fifty per cent marks (forty-five per cent for SC/ST) and present valid scores in CAT, XAT, or GMAT. For analytics-oriented courses such as BDA and IDA, candidates are required to appear for the GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT), scheduled in February 2026. The selection process includes:

  • Test scores (CAT/XAT/GMAT/GAAT)
  • Past academic performance
  • Work experience
  • Personal interview

Additionally, GIM conducts an “Achiever’s Round” to provide early shortlisting for candidates with exceptional academic or professional records.

 

Fee Structure and Other Details

The PGDM programme fee is approximately INR nineteen lakh four hundred thousand for the complete course. A refundable caution deposit of INR twenty-five thousand is also applicable, including INR five thousand towards alumni membership at the time of graduation. According to GIM, its PGDM courses are designed to develop future-ready leaders with a combination of industry-relevant skills and global outlook.
