GATE 2027 Registration is yet to begin, as IIT Madras has postponed the application start date. The official GATE 2027 website currently states that online registration will start soon and has not announced a fresh registration opening date. GATE 2027 Registration: Latest Dates

Although the registration start date is currently marked as TBA, IIT Madras has already announced several important dates related to the GATE 2027 exam. Candidates should keep checking the official portal for the revised application schedule.

As per the currently published fee information, female candidates are required to pay Rs 1,000 per paper during the regular application period, while the fee increases to Rs 1,500 per paper during the extended period. Candidates applying for two papers will have to pay the applicable fee for both papers.

IIT Madras has introduced Robotics and Automation (RA) as a new GATE 2027 test paper. The official website also highlights changes to the Biotechnology (BT), Textile Engineering and Fibre Science (TF), and sectional paper codes for XE, XH and XL. The GATE 2027 syllabus has also been revised for the test papers.
