IIT Madras has activated the GATE 2027 registration link on the GOAPS portal. Candidates seeking admission to MTech, ME, PhD programmes and PSU recruitment opportunities can now complete the GATE 2027 application form online. This year, DigiLocker verification is mandatory for all Indian candidates during the registration process.

The GATE 2027 registration last date without late fee is September 27, 2026, while candidates can apply with a late fee until October 5, 2026. IIT Madras has also introduced a new Robotics and Automation (RA) paper for GATE 2027.
