IIT Madras has released the GATE 2027 application fee details for candidates planning to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. The application fee varies according to the candidate's category, with concessional fees available for female candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories.
The GATE 2027 application fee remains unchanged compared with the previous examination cycle. Candidates applying during the regular registration period will have to pay Rs 1,000 per paper if they are female, SC, ST or PwD candidates, while all other candidates will have to pay Rs 2,000 per paper. An additional late fee of Rs 500 per paper will be applicable during the extended registration window.
