The GATE 2026 results are scheduled to be announced on 19 March 2026 by Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati on the official portal. This announcement will enable candidates to access their GATE scores and qualifying status online.
GATE 2026 Result Date and How to Check?
IIT Guwahati, the organising institute for GATE 2026, will publish results on the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) portal on 19 March 2026. Aspirants who appeared for the exam held on 07, 08, 14 and 15 February 2026 can check their results by logging in with their Enrollment ID/email and password. Once the result link goes live, candidates will be able to view their GATE Score (out of 1000), raw marks (out of 100), and All India Rank (AIR).
GATE 2026 Scorecard Release Dates
Although the result will be visible on 19 March 2026, the official GATE scorecard — required for admissions and PSU recruitment — will be downloadable from 27 March 2026 onwards. Candidates can download it for free up to 31 May 2026. After this, scorecards will be available on payment of a fee until 31 December 2026. The scorecard remains valid for three years from the result date.
