The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has extended the GATE 2026 registration deadline. Candidates can now apply without late fee until 28 September 2025. Previously, the deadline was 25 September 2025. The extended online registration with late fee will now close on 9 October 2025, instead of the earlier 6 October 2025. Candidates are advised to complete registration early to avoid last-minute issues. The application must be submitted online via the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
GATE 2026 Exam Schedule
The GATE 2026 examination will be conducted on 7, 8, 14, and 15 February 2026. The exam will be held in two shifts each day:
- Morning shift: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Afternoon shift: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
The result will be declared on 19 March 2026.
