GATE 2026 Registration Extended to October 7 Without Late Fee

The GATE 2026 registration has been extended by IIT Guwahati till October 7, 2025, without any late fee. Candidates can apply through the official portal gate2026.iitg.ac.in by midnight today. The exam dates are scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026.
How to Apply for GATE 2026?
Candidates must follow these steps to complete the GATE 2026 application:
- Visit the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
- Click on the Application Portal link.
- Fill in personal and academic details.
- Upload required documents.
- Submit the application before the deadline.
Eligible applicants include those in third year or who have completed a degree in engineering, technology, science, or other approved fields. Candidates holding a foreign degree can also apply.
Important Dates and Application Fees
The last date to apply with late fees is October 9, 2025. The GATE 2026 results will be announced on March 19, 2026. The application fee structure is as follows:
