Candidates appearing under the PwD category in GATE 2026 must note the following exam day provisions:

• PwD candidates are permitted to carry assistive devices, if required. These devices must be shown at the exam centre for verification.

• Eligible PwD candidates will be provided one hour of compensatory time to complete the examination.

PwD candidates are advised to reach the centre early to ensure a smooth verification process.
